Hello my friends,
Well what a great World Champiomnships in Moscow – almost like a dream. I was lucky enough to get a few games and even play well at the right time especially against Rumania and Hong Kong. Against Singapore I just couldn’t really get into the game the way I wanted to, (nice point to 7-7 in the first set though !) and I realise where my limits are ! There was no dissapointment though, after all we got a lot further than we ever expected.
We had a great team spirit and we all had a lot of fun. Thanks to Kristin, Elke and Dudu, they were really nice, looked after me and made it an experience never to forget. Lots of great memories and I met some famous TT people.
I’m at home for a couple of weeks now and want to try and win that bet (juggling whilst walking on the slackline) against my Dad. I also want to do some cycling, I’ve got a new racing bike. My brother is even going to play a mixed beachvolleyball tournament with me. He’s really good so we won’t be last !
Then some training here with Alex – I expect he’s got lots of things I’ve got to improve on after watching all the videos on the ITTF site !
Then it’s off to China for 2 1/2 weeks preparation prior to the European youth Championships in Istanbul in mid July.
Bye for now
